It’s Thanksgiving Eve and seems like the year has virtually vanished at the blink of an eye. There’s a chill in the air, piles of leaves on the ground and 1000’s of people traveling by air, train and car.

Whether you’re on the road or in the kitchen, preparing massive quantities of food for loved ones, I hope you’ll pause and give thanks virtually, face-to-face or in your own heart, for the gifts you enjoy every day.

When I worked for an employer, people would often ask, “Are you ready for Thanksgiving?” My pat response was, “I’m always ready. Because I celebrate Thanksgiving every day.”

How about you? Like me, your life is probably not perfect. But, you woke up this morning and many others didn’t. Each day we have a chance to start again – a Do Over…

Fellow virtual entrepreneurs, we spend countless hours in front of our computers, focused on business building and client deadlines. While this work from home gig is a good thing, remember why you’re building your business. If family and friends are part of the equation, shut down your virtual office and tell them how much you appreciate them.

I’m grateful for all of you. Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
